It’s seems to me, that most people, including professing Christians are asleep to what’s going on around us. No matter how many times I try to reach out to people with the truth about the times we are living in, it seems like their ears are dull of hearing. They fool themselves that the agendas meant to bring us down are really just conspiracy theories and misinformation. That I’m making a big deal about nothing regarding Covid-19, Vaccines, Protests, Freedoms, Church lockdowns, etc.
The root problem, I believe, is an apathy towards the Scriptures and prophecy. Most Christians have no clue what to expect prophetically and now they are reaping the fruit of their lack of knowledge. There is a reason Jesus promises a special blessings to those who read the Book of Revelation and seek to understand it. (Rev.1:3) Those that are awake to what’s going on, are resting in the peace of God in the midst of all the troubles we are facing. God gives those who are faithful, grace to endure the coming trials and see clearly the path this world is headed!
So, I wanted to share some verses on waking up and warning others!
“And do this, knowing the time, that now it ishigh time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.“ (Romans 13:11-14)
“But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” (1 Thess. 5:4-11)
“And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.“ (Romans 2:3-11)
“For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” ( 1 Peter 4:3-6)
Things stay the same for a long time until they don't, and then things change very quickly. Most casual christians will be shocked when it happens and won't know what hit them. They will repent or perish.
